Kara and Dan were married on June 29th 2013 in Waterbury Ct.. My daughter's Heather and Hannah were the photographers of this amazing event.
I was so excited to be able to deliver these Real Touch, Beach Themed Wedding Flowers to Kara today. Kara, by far was my easiest bride to work with. Her bridesmaids were wearing Malibu blue and she wanted blue flowers. Most brides make the mistake of wanting to match the flowers with the dress. I told Kara that doing so, would make the flowers blend into the dress and that her flowers wouldn't pop. Her reply was, "I trust you, Do whatever you want" All she wanted was to have gerbera daisies in all the bouquets as this was her childhood favorite flower. For her bridesmaids, I chose real touch yellow roses backed with white hydrangeas. Yellow mini gerbera daisies with white real touch tulips popping throughout the bouquets and a hint of filler to make the bouquets have dimension. As for the brides bouquet, I chose 5 different kinds of real touch roses backed with white hydrangeas and a hint of yellow to tie in the bridesmaids. I added her favorite flower, the gerbera daisies with white real touch spider mums, white real touch tulips and white real touch calla lilies. I surprised her with added sea shells adorned with Malibu Blue Swarovski Crystal flowers that I made with a fresh water pearl center, and fresh water pearl flowers with a Malibu Blue Swarovski Crystal center.
