Jessica and Chris were married on Sept 3rd 2012 at her parents home in Newtown Ct.. My daughter's Heather and Hannah were the photographers of this amazing event.
Jessica and Chris wanted a good old fashion sunflower themed, labor day picnic, and a beautiful day it was. Her Lavishly gardened home was set up with a 90 foot circus tent in a manner any professional venue would have been proud. Jessica had a very special request when picking the flowers for her bouquet. She wanted flowers that had special meaning to her. Sunflowers were the first flowers Chris brought her as a gift. Roses, calla lilies and Orchids were flowers that soon followed. Snap dragons were her favorite as a child while she played with their little heads. Finally Bells of Ireland were tucked throughout the bouquet to honor the Irish in Chris. Chris and the guys had mini sunflower boutonnieres accented with red hypericum berries and looped bear grass. The tables were set with hand picked wildflowers, placed in vintage style watering cans, that my husband and I picked the day before. The morning of the wedding, my husband Jeff went into the swamps again so we could have a sumptuous swag above her wedding trellis.
I am very proud to have been able to do the Real Touch Silk flowers for her ceremony and the fresh flowers for her reception. I hope you have a wonderful life together.
